Common American Expressions and Slang
​(and How to Use Them)

In this class, you will learn some of the most common expressions and slang in American English.  Have you heard expressions or slang words in the past that you still don't understand? Bring a list to class. I'll answer all of your questions and explain how each expression or slang word is used. We'll practice using these words and expressions many times during class so that you understand how to use them in conversation.

Class details:

• Two 90-minute classes (3 hours of class time)

• Class size: 3 - 6 students
• You will receive recordings of each class
• Materials for all assignments (in-class and homework) will be provided

• Participate in conversation groups online (Practice your skills with other students 24 hours a day!)
